Our History, Mission and Core Values

An Humble Start to a New Industry

HOPE was founded in 1999 when God gave him this vision. Dr. W. Leslie Snead in his small church and community groups of business leaders came together to address the racial discrimination and inequitable access to housing in the state of North Carolina and he establish a non-for-profit self-supporting organization with a social vision to design urban community developments that will be well-managed housing built on church, HBCU and public and private property to create a safe work, live and play neighborhood.
